Dr. Sandra Adams is a board-certified medical oncologist specialising in gynaecological cancers and haematological malignancies. She completed her medical education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and gynaecological oncology fellowship at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, gaining expertise in the surgical and systemic management of ovarian, endometrial, cervical, and vulvar cancers, followed by additional training in haematological oncology.Dr. Adams is a recognised expert in the treatment of ovarian cancer, from initial cytoreductive surgery through platinum-based chemotherapy, PARP inhibitor maintenance, and management of relapsed disease. She co-leads an ovarian cancer surveillance programme for women with BRCA1 and BRCA2 pathogenic variants, providing genetic counselling, risk-reduction surgery discussions, and enhanced screening.Her haematological oncology practice encompasses the management of lymphomas and acute leukaemias, with particular expertise in elderly patients for whom treatment intensity must be carefully balanced against comorbidity burden.
