Dr. Nancy Baker is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a subspecialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, with 13 years of dedicated practice in assisted reproductive technology. She earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed obstetrics and gynaecology residency followed by a reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at Boston IVF — one of the largest and most successful fertility centres in the United States.Dr. Baker's clinical expertise encompasses the full spectrum of fertility evaluation and treatment, from initial investigation of unexplained infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss through controlled ovarian stimulation, intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilisation, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, and frozen embryo transfer. She has particular expertise in fertility preservation — oocyte and embryo cryopreservation — for patients with cancer diagnoses requiring gonadotoxic treatment, and for individuals and couples who wish to defer childbearing for personal or medical reasons.Her research programme focuses on optimising embryo selection using preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy and structural rearrangements, and investigating endometrial receptivity markers to improve implantation rates in patients with repeated implantation failure. She has published in Fertility and Sterility, Human Reproduction, and the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, and serves on the ethics committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.Dr. Baker understands that fertility treatment can be an emotionally exhausting journey, and she provides warm, unhurried consultations that ensure patients have realistic expectations while maintaining hope. She works alongside a dedicated embryology team, fertility nurses, and counsellors to support patients throughout treatment cycles. She has been recognised with the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology's Distinguished Educator Award for her contributions to training the next generation of reproductive endocrinologists.
