Dr. Mei Lin Zhou is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist and high-risk obstetrics expert at Ascension Women's Health Hospital, where she leads the Perinatal Care Center. Board certified in both general OB/GYN and maternal-fetal medicine, she trained at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her MFM fellowship at University of Chicago Medicine.Dr. Zhou specializes in caring for pregnant patients with complex medical conditions including diabetes, hypertensive disorders, cardiac disease, and autoimmune conditions, as well as multiple gestations and fetal anomalies. She performs advanced prenatal diagnostic procedures including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and fetal echocardiography.She is an active researcher with a particular focus on preterm birth prevention and racial disparities in maternal outcomes. Dr. Zhou is founding co-director of Ascension's Centering Pregnancy program and has helped expand access to prenatal care for underserved communities across Wisconsin. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
